Grilled Okra (2 servings)






INGREDIENTS:

1/2 lb. okra, sliced
2 T. veg. oil
1 tsp. my house seasoning (equal parts garlic powder, onion powder and pepper...combine and store in an airtight container)
good pinch of salt
1 T. yellow cornmeal


Directions:


Put the okra in a bowl and add in the remaining ingredients, tossing the okra to coat well.
Using a piece of heavy duty tinfoil, spread the okra out on it and them form up the sides, making a tinfoil pan.
Heat the grill to med. high and place the okra on the grill.
Grill for 20 minutes, stirring the okra every 5 minutes or so to prevent burning.
